This past month was 50% winter and 50% summer and now I am all in for summer time. Enjoy my last weeks surviving the winter and my first weeks enjoying the summer! I spent a lot of April soaking up what little sun we had on the deck and sipping all of the fruity sodas I could find! Send me all of your favorite things from this past month! I can’t wait to hear from you all! x

American Eagle Paperbag Soft Pant- I’ve done it again. I’ve found yet another way to wear pajamas as regular clothes! I have been loving these pants this month. They were a very bold and daring purchase. I’m normally a girl who strictly sticks to skinny jeans. I haven’t owned pants this wide since middle school but I am loving them. I dare you to go a little out of your comfort zone this month and buy something a little crazy!

American Eagle Wool Baker Boy Cap- I feel like I’ve been searching my whole life for a hat (that’s not a baseball cap) that you can wear with a bun or ponytail and still look put together. You guys, I have done it. This style of hat is super trendy right now, but for me, it’s here to stay. Plus, it’s currently on sale for $15!

Lane & Kate Forever Ring- My lovely and beautiful best friend, Lydia, got this ring for me for my birthday. Not only is it stunning but its made of gold and won’t turn on me! I’m all about shopping local when I can so thank you to my best friend for this delicate beauty.

Universal Thread Ruffle Sleeve Stripe T-Shirt- Love. This. Shirt. Early in April, I decided to splurge and venture into the world of Target clothing. I know, I know. All this time and I still haven’t gone over to the clothing section… Target adding Universal Thread to their clothing is the equivalent of them adding Magnolia to the home section- game changer. I’m obsessed with this pretty tee and obsessed with the whole Universal Thread line.

Target A New Day Button Front Tie Skirt- This is not the exact skirt, but it’s pretty close. I’m not usually a skirt kinda gal but I haven’t been able to take this number off. It’s surprisingly comfy and it goes with absolutely everything. I can wear a tee and Chucks or heels and a pretty blouse. I just know I’ll be wearing this all summer long.

Peach and Raspberry Coke Y’alllllllll. I don’t know when these came out but boy, am I glad they did. Coke has released individual bottles of the most deliciously flavored Cokes yet. The flavor is just right in each bottle and out of this world. I’m hoping they are not just a summer release because I could drink them all day, every day.

International Delight Southern Butter Pecan creamer (not pictured)- This was a creamer I tried just for fun and now I am hooked. It is never something I pictured myself wanting in a coffee but I am so glad I tried it. It’s got that sweet buttery flavor mixed with an almost caramel-type flavor. Definitly check this out if you have a sweet tooth in the morning.

Lowe’s air plant and Threshold Watering Can- Not only am I loving how cute this little plant is, but I have been loving taking care of it this past month. I think I might actually be able to be a full-time plant mom… (The cute little spritzer also makes it a lot more fun.) Sorry, guys: Watering can is the closest available one they have at the moment.

Bath and Body Works- Rosewater + Ivy candle (picture in Entertainment)- This candle is hands-down my favorite candle ever made by Bath and Body Works. It’s so light and pretty and has the perfect amount of floral scent I want. It’s been so perfect for the spring. Bonus: it’s available year-round. You’re welcome.

Peter Roth Thomas Skin to Die For No-Filter Mattifying Primer & Complexion Perfector AD– While I talked a little bit about this in my makeup routine post, I had to share it again here. This primer has really helped me and my oily skin. I only have to use an oil blotter once a day instead of the normal 3-4 times. LOVE this thing.

It Bye Bye Pores Pressed Poreless Finish Airbrush Pressed Powder- I’m honestly not sure I will ever be able to get another powder ever again. I’ve recently signed up for a Sephora Play box and I received this in my first month. I’ve bought so many products promising to “airbrush” my face and this one definitely does the best job. My wallet will not be thanking me after this deluxe sample runs out but at least my face will.

Fresh Lotus Youth Preserve Rescue Mask- This product also came in my Sephora Play box. This mask is the definition of fresh. I honestly feel as if I am slathering nature on my face and weirdly, it’s amazing. This mask works in just five minutes to give your face gorgeous post-facial brightness and softness. I’ll be sad to see this baby go.

Grey Sephora Clay mask and Green Sephora Clay mask- Last month I introduced you to the blue mask (which I still have not run out of… over 20 uses, people), this month, I introduce you to two others. The grey one works to mattify and the green works to minimize pores and purify your skin. I love how many uses you can get out of these. These masks are absolutely amazing.

Mario Badescu Chamomile Eye Cream- My favorite nighttime eye cream was discontinued so I had to go on the search for more and I found this one. First of all, this thing is probably going to last me an entire year. Secondly, it moisturizes my eyes soooo well, I should have started using it a long time ago. I have weird dry eyelids and this little guy does just the right trick.

Drunk Elephant C-Firma Day Serum- Thanks to my amazing friend, Christina, I was able to try this product out. I have been using the Rodan + Fields version of this serum for a long time and it really wasn’t doing the trick. Not only can I now save $40 and three steps, but my face is actually looking less red and my acne scars are improving! No product has ever been able to help with my scarring before so thanks to Christina for blessing me with this one!

Blush lotion from Victoria’s Secret- Unfortunately out of stock at the moment (don’t kill me), this lotion was such a good smell for the weird winter/spring we had in April. Cozy and floral, this is one of my favorite Victoria’s Secret scents out there. Here’s to hoping it comes back in stock soon!

Hello, Beautiful lotion from Bath and Body Works- Now for the spring part of the month… this scent has been a dream. (Yes, I go through two bottles of lotion in a month, judge me.) Infused with white gardenia, jasmine petals, magnolia blossom, pink nectarine, and cotton musk, it’s just as inviting and sweet as the name sounds.

Seamless Bible study- I’ve been doing this Bible study with my best friend and our small group girls throughout April and May. It’s not only been amazing to do with the girls but so healing and wonderful for me as well. If you ever feel like you just don’t understand the Bible (especially the Old Testament) like you should, this book is for you. Not only do I now feel more confident with the Word, but the author made me laugh and cry all the way through it. Women of all ages, check this out.

Series of Unfortunate Events TV series- After reading the books as a kid, I was always really disappointed in the movie. The Neoriginaliginal however, made all of my childhood dreams come true. You really feel like you are sitting there reading the books and enjoying the sarcasm in a whole new way. Season Two came out earlier in April and you just have to check it out!

American Idol- Growing up, I always loved watching American Idol. When the last season aired, I felt like a part of me had grown up and an era ended. When I heard it was starting again, I just knew I was going to be obsessed. I’ve screamed, I’ve cried, and I have voted every week. I don’t think I’ve ever seen so many talented people under the age of 22 in one place. This season has been amazing! (Not to mention, I loooove me some Katy Perry and Lionel Richie.)

I hope you had a marvelous April and an even better May! Always remember, April showers (or snow…) bring May flowers and all the good weather. I’ll see all of your beautiful faces Friday! x
