In case you were curious, I try to plan out my “lifestyle” posts months in advance. All my plans for this summer are sideways, so we are doing something spontaneous this week and talking some fun summer drinks you can sip and pretend you’re on that summer vacation you had booked (I feel you, trust me)! So here’s to a summer indoors and masked!

You’ll need the following, but the best part of drinks is you can make it up and change up any recipe to just what you have.

  • 2-liter Sprite
  • Orange juice
  • Frozen strawberries
  • Canned frozen lime juice
  • Ice

This is something I used to make a lot for small group or parties my mom would throw. Put the frozen strawberries in first (about 1/3 of the blender), then the entire “canned” frozen lime juice. Add about an 8 oz cup full of ice. Pulse together until the strawberries and ice are no longer whole. Add a cup (or two, depending on preference) of orange juice and pour the Sprite until it “covers” the rest of the ingredients (usually about 1/3-1/2 of the two liter). Blend a boom! You might as well be on a beach.

This trend may not be going viral anymore but I am 100% still here for it. For two servings, you’ll need:

  • 4 Tbsp Instant Coffee
  • 4 Tbsp of hot (emphasis on hot) water
  • 2 Tbsp of sugar
  • 1/2 Tbsp of vanilla extract (to taste)
  • Ice
  • Milk (your choice)

You literally just throw everything into either a bowl or a mixer and mix it until it’s the perfect whipped cream texture. In a mixer, it probably takes about 3-5 minutes to get that consistency. Pour milk and ice halfway to whatever glass you are using, glop the whipped yumminess on top (I typically stir it in) and enjoy! Now you can pretend you’re at that super cute coffee shop in the city you wanted to visit. 😉

This recipe is from Town & Country! This is super refreshing with the perfect kiss of summer in your backyard. You’ll need:

  • 1/2 oz lime juice
  • 1/2 oz of agave syrup
  • 1/2 oz of blood orange puree (or just squeeze em or get juice, honestly)
  • Mint leaves, if you have them
  • Splash of soda water

Muddle the mint with the lime juice and agave. Pour into a glass, fill with ice, and everything else. Top with more mint leaves and a slice of lime for extra cuteness!

It’s what you’ve been waiting for! The summer drink of all drinks and it’s way easier than you’d think. This recipe is from High Heels and Grills. You need:

  • 1 cup of pineapple juice
  • 1 cup canned coconut milk
  • 1/4 cup of granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Ice

You just place everything in a blender, step out onto your patio, and play ocean sounds on your speaker. Be right back because I’m about to have one of those…

I hope you all try one of these this weekend and enjoy your time in your own paradise. We are all in this together!! x
